How to make this 3-ingredient banana bread
All you need to make this recipe are bananas, flour, condensed milk, and a mixing bowl. Easy, right?
Preheat your oven at 350°F and grease a loaf pan. Mash your overripe bananas as much as you can. Some chunks are okay, especially if you prefer your banana bread with a little more texture. Get your largest mixing bowl and combine your bananas with the condensed milk.
Once the milk and bananas are well combined, slowly whisk in the self-rising flour. You should end up with a smooth dough.
Place the dough into the greased loaf pan, and bake for 30 minutes. To check the doneness, use a toothpick or fork and pierce the middle of the banana bread. If it comes out clean, then remove the banana bread from the oven and let it cool.
To make this recipe vegan, you can switch it out for plant-based condensed milk. I have found that coconut condensed milk works best, but it depends on what you can find easiest.

- 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
- 3/4 cup traditional condensed milk (or plant-based)
- 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
- Preheat your oven at 350°F. Grease a baking pan, and line it with parchment paper. In this recipe, we used a 7x4 in. baking pan.
- Mash the bananas. Add them into a mixing bowl and mix with the condensed milk.
- Slowly add in the flour and whisk thoroughly.
- Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake for 30 minutes. Or, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Take the banana bread out of the oven and let it cool.
- Slice it and enjoy with a cup of coffee!
